KANK special & two new shows highlight Venus TV

Venus TV will be airing a music special on Karan Johar’s much awaited movie ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kenha’ (KANK) along with the introduction of two new shows.

A press conference where Bollywood director Karan Johar and superstar Shah Rukh Khan launched the music of Kabhi Alvida Na Kenha was held in London on Monday 12th June. Highlights and interviews from this day will be shown on Venus TV this weekend (telecast time TBC).

Two new shows beginning later this month on the channel are ‘Garam Masala’ and ‘Geeton Ki Bahar’. The first will be a live & interactive show targeting youngsters. Viewers will have the chance to phone in and chat with the host about their favourite music including recent hits as well as all time favourites. The latter as the name suggests will be for music lovers who prefer music of the years gone by.

A new sitcom based on enacted newscasting blunders called ‘4 News’ will air later this month too.

The channel has also said to have struck more movie deals with Indian broadcaster Sahara One. These films will be shown in August.
