Kanika Kapoor tests positive for coronavirus for fourth time

Kanika Kapoor has been in hospital being treated for coronavirus ever since her first positive diagnosis, upon returning to India from London. The family have now said that she has tested positive for the fourth time.

According to Mid-Day, the family are worried. They said, “We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.”

Doctors at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, where Kapoor is admitted, have said that she will need to test negative twice before she is allowed to be discharged.

The singer reportedly first tested positive on 20th March.
