Kanika Kapoor discharged from hospital after recovering from coronavirus

Kanika Kapoor has been discharged from hospital after testing negative for the second time.

Kapoor was one of the first Bollywood stars to test for coronavirus and received a lot of flak after it emerged that she fibbed about her social actives when returning back from the UK to India. She is facing an FIR by the Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow accusing her of negligence.

Reports say that Kapoor tested negative in her sixth test at the hospital. She will now be in quarantine at home for two weeks.

In March, Kapoor posted a post about her health on Instagram. She said, “I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10 days ago when I came back home, the symptoms have developed only 4 days ago. My family and I are in complete quarantine now and following medical advice on how to move forward. Contact mapping of people I have been in touch with is underway as well.”
