Kangna on rejecting ‘Beyond The Clouds’

Kangna Ranaut has opened up about why she rejected Majid Majidi’s ‘Beyond The Clouds’ opposite newcomer Ishaan Khatter.

There were reports that she rejected the role as it wasn’t so meaty. Confirming the news, Ranaut told Times Of India, “It’s a brother-sister story where the brother is the one doing all the fighting. Since I’m jumping straight into Ketan Mehta’s Jhansi ki Rani, who was an iconic heroine, why would I take on such a submissive role?”

Incidentally, Ranaut will next be seen in ‘Rangoon’ with Khatter’s half brother, Shahid Kapoor.
