Kangna reacts to ‘Queen’ director sexual allegations

With the industry abuzz about director Vikas Bahl’s alleged sexual harassment claims, Kangna Ranaut has spoken out about her ‘Queen’ (2013) filmmaker.

Asked about the allegations at an event Ranaut was attending, she was cited in Deccan Chronicle saying, “We are here to talk about a brand, but what you’ll mentioned is a serious topic. But whoever faces such situations and speaks up is courageous.”

She added, “Generally speaking, they should be encouraged to talk about it by their family, colleagues. They should not be shamed. Obviously, there will always be another side to the other story. But people should speak up, whether it is right or wrong.”

Ranaut is currently working on ‘Simran’.
