Kangna Ranaut wants an equal society

Kangna Ranaut has said she wishes to see an equal society where there is no need for feminism. The bold actress was speaking recently at a summit event.

Ranaut, who has been in the news frequently over the past few weeks due to her controversial statements, spoke up on gender equality and clarified she wasn’t the man-hater she’s been termed as. “No, I am not a man-hater for sure… I think feminism is something… a sorry state to be in any society. The gender equality should be there, where feminism doesn’t need to act like a medicine on inequality”, she said as reported in Mid-Day.com.

She went onto add that before being an actress she was a woman and has every right to voice her opinion as a female without the tag of her profession. “See, a person’s opinion shouldn’t have to do anything with her profession. My profession should not determine my voice as an individual. I think before an actress, I am a woman and a citizen of this country with a free voice, and my voice should be free from all baggage”, she added.

Seems like the actress is using her voice for positive change following her recent explosive statements.
