Kangna on ‘Rangoon’ failure: “It’s all part of the business”

Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ which released in February had many expectations attached to it – not least from the film’s leading lady Kangna Ranaut. However, the actress has taken the film’s failure on the chin.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Ranaut expressed, “Most critics said that was my best work so far. I just felt sad that the film couldn’t reach as many people as it could have. It’s heartbreaking. My only grudge from the film is that not many people saw it. My work didn’t reach to people and I felt really bad about it. But failure is inevitable, you’ve got to have setbacks. It’s all part of the business”.

‘Rangoon’ also starred Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
