Kangna Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ trailer out next month?

Kangna Ranaut’s forthcoming period film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’, which is based on the biopic of the warrior queen Rani Laxmibai, is soon to announce the release date of the film.

Reported on Pinkvilla, the ‘Manikarnika’ team started shooting last year, with an initial release date of 27th April 2018, but the date got pushed back. When asked about the release date, Ranaut shared, “We launched the film in Varanasi on May 5 and we started shooting for it in June-July last year. I think when you make a film on the huge scale, then it normally takes one or one and half year but I can say that this year we will be able to release the film.”

The trailer is planned to drop next month, which was revealed on Instagram by a dubbing artist working on the film.

At a recent event Ranaut spoke about her outfits she will be wearing in the film. “In one part of Manikarnika when my character is married and is in a happy space, the outfits make me look so beautiful. Every day, when I would dress up and go to the set, I would get so many compliments. But then, the film moves into a war zone and my look is that of a warrior queen.”…”There are so many shades to my character in the film,” added Ranaut.
