Kangna Ranaut spoke out about the consequences her ‘Queen’ (2013) director Vikas Bahl is facing after sexual harassment charges against him came to light.
“Whatever is happening with Vikas Bahl is absolutely correct. There are many people like Vikas Bahl he is not the only one. We still have a lot of work to do it so we should not start the celebrations as yet. We have a long way to go. We have to make this place [world] absolutely safe for women.”, Ranaut said in an interview with Zee, adding that, “There are men who make false promises of love, marriage or work to a girl to get them into a relationship that is also a type of harassment. There are married men keep their wives as trophies and keep young girls as their mistresses, like what happened between me and Hrithik (Roshan). Nobody should work with such people. They should be boycotted”.
Ranaut recently shared her own experiences of inappropriate behaviour from Bahl and has been very vocal about her former relationship with Roshan. Professionally, she is gearing up for the promotions of ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, releasing on 25th January.
