Kangna Ranaut unable to do��YRF’s��’Sultan’ opposite Salman Khan

After turning down the offer of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ opposite Salman Khan, Kangna Ranaut has once again had to walk away from a film opposite the superstar. ��Ranaut was approached to play the lead role in Yash Raj Film’s ‘Sultan’ opposite Khan but is unable to do the project due to date issues.

The actress, who is riding high on the success of ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015),��confirmed the news��to DNA India, saying,��”Yes, ‘Sultan’�۪s dates are clashing with ‘Rangoon’ and I am already committed to ‘Rangoon.'”

Ranaut was recently confirmed to star in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. ��Other films in her kitty include Nikhil Advani’s ‘Katti Batti’ and Hansal Mehta’s next.

It is not yet known which actress will step into Ranaut’s shoes for ‘Sultan’. ��However, the role is apparently stronger than those female leads usually bag in a Salman Khan starrer. ��According to the grapevine, the female lead in ‘Sultan’ also plays a wrestler and producer Aditya Chopra was very keen to sign Ranaut for the role.
