Kangna Ranaut to play stand-up comedian in Rajkumar Hirani’s next?

Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines for many��reasons recently, namely her legal tiff with Hrithik Roshan. ��Professionally, the three-time National Award winning actress remains unbeaten with an impressive lineup of movies. ��It is now being heard that she may soon be teaming up with Rajkumar Hirani.

Rumours were recently��rife that the Himachal Pradesh born superstar would play Maanyata Dutt’s role in the Sanjay Dutt biopic, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. However, a close source reports, according to��Pinkvilla, that the actress will not star in the biopic but will instead feature in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming venture, as a stand-up comedian. ��The actress is said to have been taking some training and attending workshops to get into this new character.

Much more is not yet known about the said project to be directed by Hirani.

Ranaut, who has been busy shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj directorial ‘Rangoon’ in which she will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’ which is scheduled to go on floors in October.
