Kangna Ranaut to play Fearless Nadia in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next

As reported by��BizAsia recently, Vishal Bhardwaj has allegedly roped in actress Kangna Ranaut for his next project. ��While details of the film have still not been confirmed, rumour has it that the film is titled ‘Julia’ and based on the life of Fearless Nadia.

“Bhardwaj has been toying with the idea of making a film on Fearless Nadia for close to a decade now. ��Around eight years back, he started working on the script and even had the cast on board, but the film got stalled as the production house backed out. ��Thereafter, the film has been lying in the cold storage but recently, the filmmaker decided to revive his ambitious project. ��He has almost finished re-writing the script and has given Kangna a narration,” a source informed��DNA India.

Fearless Nadia was the screen name of popular actress and stunt-woman, Mary Evans Wadia who was most active in 1930s and 40s Bollywood.

A formal announcement is expected from Bhardjwaj once Ranaut works out her dates and officially signs the contract.
