Kangna Ranaut to take share of profit from forthcoming films

When it comes to making changes in the industry, especially for women, Kangna Ranaut is one name that comes to mind. News has it, that she has now demanded a share of the profits of her forthcoming films. This is something that had only been done by the likes of Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar.

According to DNA India, instead of taking a lump sum of fees Ranuat has decided to limit her pay, and invest in taking a share of the profits her films ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’. Despite going through a tough patch with box office recently, the actress seems confident that these films will do extremely well.

As well as this, she’ll also have income from her follow up projects which include, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next, and ‘Imli’ to be helmed by Anurag Basu.

As both ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Mental Hai Kya’ will be 2019 releases, it seems the actress is going to have to wait a while before she can go laughing to the bank.
