Kangna Ranaut opts out of ‘Dedh Ishqiya’

Kangna Ranaut has decided to opt of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ due to date issues.

According to Hindustan Times, the actress had booked dates in the early part of 2013 for Tigmanshu Dhulia-produced film ‘Revolver Rani’, which clashed with the ‘Ishqiya’ sequel.

A source said, “Tigmanshu also requires dates around the same period that Vishal does. Kangna tried hard to alter her schedule to work in both the films, but ultimately she had to choose one. She respects Vishal a lot and they mutually agreed on her not doing this film. In fact, Kangna even told him that she would be more than keen to work in one of his upcoming films.”

Director Abhishek Chaubey said, “Right now, I don’t want to comment on any such thing. We will announce details of the star cast in a few days.”

‘Dedh Ishqiya’ also stars Madhuri Dixit.
