Kangna Ranaut: “I am thrilled I can use my voice for significant causes”

The #meetoo campaign was launched on social media so individuals all around the world could share their stories on sexual harassment. Kangna Ranaut has always been vocal on her trysts with the film industry, including sexual harassment. She is happy that her voice can shine an light on the issues that women face.  Twitter users started trending the hashtag #kanganatoo because she has been the one to speak up publicly.

As according to News18, Ranaut said, “It’s a deliberate stand that I have taken against issues that I strongly condemn, issues like physical abuse, exploitation, sexual harassment, and pay disparity. I am prepared for all the fights that would come my way. I know like-minded individuals, my well wishers worry about me, but we need to know that it’s not going to be easy. I am super thrilled that I can use my voice and position for significant causes and I assure everyone that nothing will stop me from doing that.”
