Kangna Ranaut confirms same fee as Saif Ali Khan for ‘Rangoon’

Kangna Ranaut was branded as one of the highest paid actresses in B-town having won two National Awards. After winning three, the actress has confirmed that she’s charging the same fee as Saif Ali Khan for their next movie, ‘Rangoon’.

Ranaut, according to Pinkvilla, spoke about her role, “There are three heroes in��Rangoon.��Shahid, Saif and Kangna.”

The actress was asked if she’s being paid equal to what Ali Khan is getting and she replied, “Yes.��I think as women, we need to start doing more significant roles. , If I do a small role in a film, maybe one important scene, then I should charge according to that. However, if I am the plot driving protagonist,��then I should charge according to what I am providing as an artist and as an individual to my job”.

She also said, “I feel the Khans are a bit of a case study, a phenomena. However, keeping my other male counterparts in mind, I make sure that I get paid as much as them”.

‘Rangoon’ is set for release on 30th September.
