Kangna Ranaut believes Priyanka Chopra’s awards are hers?

Controversies never seem to leave B-town. While some get fame, others are left fuming with anger. Recently, the outspoken Kangna Ranaut also had a similar story to share with her fans about her lack of interest in the award shows.

Ranaut was reportedly accused of not attending many events causing her to lose the awards to others. To give a fair chance to reason the accusation, 9xe interviewed Ranaut where she said, “I was suppose to get all the awards. You think we don’t come to know before hand?”

Later it was revealed that the outburst was towards no one else but Priyanka Chopra, who seemed to catch every eye with her movie ‘Mary Kom’ (2014). She had been showered with awards for her performance.

About Chopra, Ranaut went on to say ���Priyanka and I didn’t have an equation joh kharab ho gaya. She was a big star in 2008 when I was just taking baby steps in Bollywood.�۝

From the best debutante award to ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ (2011) and ‘Krrish 3’ (2013) her absence created differences and all the times respectable jury refused to hand her the awards, to which she said, ���By then, I had lost all the craze and respect for awards.”

The recent change and the appreciation she received for her performance in ‘Queen’ (2014) gave a positive energy to the lady, especially when Bollywood icon Rekha showed up surprising Ranaut to give her the Filmfare trophy. Ranaut was glad to finally see her work being appreciated instead of her presence at the ceremonies.

In contrast, on Ranaut’s win at the 62nd National Film Awards, Chopra congratulated her.
