Kangana Ranaut to make comeback with ‘Queen 2’ & ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’
Kangana Ranaut is reportedly preparing for a major comeback to the silver screen with sequels to two of her most celebrated films, ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.
According to industry sources, the actress is keen to reprise her iconic roles in ‘Queen 2’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’, with filming scheduled to begin back-to-back from November 2025. Ranaut will first commence shooting for ‘Queen 2’, directed once again by Vikas Bahl, who helmed the original critically acclaimed film. The script for the sequel is said to be locked and described as “extremely powerful,” with London expected to serve as a key international location.

Upon completion of ‘Queen 2’, Ranaut will reunite with Aanand L. Rai for ‘Tanu Weds Manu 3’, with production slated to begin in early 2026. The third instalment will see her reuniting with R. Madhavan, her co-star from the previous films, as the story returns to its heartland roots with a fresh narrative and emotional depth.
