Kangana Ranaut throws a wrap-up party for ‘Emergency’
Earlier this week, Kangana Ranaut announced the wrap of her film, ‘Emergency’.
To celebrate the successful completion of the film she held a party that was attended by her team of actors, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Satish Kaushik. Speaking at the event, she said, “This film has been completed after a period of struggle. Anupamji and Satishji are like pillars of strength for me. ”
She added, “This is a chapter of history that has never been opened”. ‘Emergency’ is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical film directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut, with screenplay by Ritesh Shah and story by Kangana herself. Based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, it stars the actress as former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Kangana Ranaut had been banned by Twitter in May 2021 for posting controversial content about the Bengal post-election violence. Kangana Ranaut’s account has been reinstated last week. In the course of a spirited repartee with a Twitter account, she revealed that she had mortgaged her house and her office just to make this movie.
