Kangana Ranaut lands in hot water over ‘Bheek’ comment on India independence

Not one to hold back on controversial remarks, Kangana Ranaut once again has got herself into trouble over a comment about India’s independence.

A legal case has been filed by advocates Ashish Patil and Ankit Upadhyay against the actress for her ‘Bheek’ comment on the independence of India.

The complaint states that the national dignity and honor of Indian citizens, great former freedom warriors, heroes, and former leaders have been harmed by her statement.

There have been calls for Ranaut to return her Padma Shri Award.
