Kangana Ranaut declines Best Actress award in Melbourne

Kangana Ranaut is winning accolades from one and all, and rightfully so. The actress who has wowed the audience and critics alike with her double performance in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015),��has been awarded��the Best Actress Award at the Melbourne Film Festival, for the role.��Although, Ranaut has politely declined accepting the award,��she will grace the festival with her ‘Katti Batti’ team.

According to TOI, a source has confirmed that the actress and the team of her upcoming with Imran Khan, ‘Katti Batti’, has been invited to the festival. The source said, “The Melbourne Film Festival wants to present Kangana with the��best actress award for TWMR. Kangana and the entire of Katti Batti has been invited to the festival. While she will go and grace the event, she has politely declined the award.”

Ranaut has been known to not accept awards as she doesn’t believe in them. She will be seen opposite Khan for the first time in ‘Katti Batti’. The film is slated to release on 18th September.
