Kajol is Karan Johar’s lucky mascot

It’s a well-known fact that Karan Johar shares a special bond with both Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. However, in a recent statement, KJo has specified that Kajol is indeed his lucky mascot. This explains why the actress will be seen in ‘Student of the Year’ strutting her stuff in the Disco��Deewane song.

As reported by ZEE News, KJo said, “Kajol is in the disco song and she has danced with the boys (Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan). Kajol`s presence is very important for me. She has been there in every film of mine and she has always been lucky… I don`t like breaking tradition, I am a creature of habit”.

The two male leads of ‘SOTY’ spoke about their experience in having Kajol on the sets with them during the song shoot. Siddharth Malhorta stated, “It was great, she just came on the sets, picked up the steps in 10 to 15 minutes, while we had been learning the steps for seven days. We actually felt for the first time, the star power”.

Varun Dhawan also commented, “Basically when she was on the set no one saw us. We were like dancers, everyone was like `Kajol ma`am is coming'”.

Well, it seems there will be no shortage of appreciation and love for an actress who KJo can’t seem to function without.
