Kajol: “I’m now like the comeback queen”

Her last venture was back in 2015 with Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’, and now Kajol is all set to grace the screens again in Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Eela’. Having had many long gaps in her career recently, Kajol caught up with the media and expressed how she is the queen of comebacks.

“I’ve had so many of these ‘comebacks’, I’m now like the ‘comeback queen’! I am like a bad penny, I just keep coming back,” Pinkvilla reported the actress stating.

Said to be an adaptation of the Gujarati play ‘Beta Kaagdo’, Kajol will be seen playing a single mother. Telling about her role, she explained, “I liked the script honestly, liked the lines, everything. I like my character of Ela (a single mother), I identify with many of her things.”

Still in its early stages, the film tells the story of the relationship between a son and his single mother.
