The iconic love story ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ (1995) is celebrating 1000 weeks at Maratha Mandir. There have been celebrations up and down the country in the sub-continent. In all of this, it has emerged that the film’s lead actress Kajol has expressed that she would not be in favour of a remake of it.

According to India Today, Kajol has said to a leading daily, “It’s more about my memories attached to the movie rather than specific scenes. So when I’m watching the movie, it’s like watching flashback after flashback remembering what actually happened around that time. We had an absolute blast shooting it”.

Along with Shah Rukh Khan, the actress took part in a live in conversation today to pay tribute to the film.

It released on 20th October 1995, directed by Aditya Chopra.
