‘Kahaani’ & ‘London, Paris, New York’ on Star Gold in June

Star Gold will be premiering two big movie treats in June including ‘Kahaani’ and ‘London, Paris, New York’, BizAsia can confirm.

‘Kahaani’ is a suspense thriller about Vidya Bagchi, who is seven months pregnant and travels from London to Kolkata in search of her husband, Arnab. Arnab has gone missing making this same trek, and Vidya now has nothing to rely on but her memories of him. She is determined to find the truth about her husband, though others try to convince her that he does not even exit. This movie is more than just a person looking for their husband. According to Saanj News, ���It strikes a captivating balance between realism in art and the art of courting realism, without losing the entertainment quotient.���

Similar to Vidya Bagchi�۪s city of origin in ‘Kahaani’, London is where the romantic comedy movie, ‘London, Paris, New York’, starts off as well. Nikhil Chopra, a rich Punjabi boy who�۪s traveling to London to attend a film school, and Lalitha Krishnan, a midde-class South Indian girl from Mumbai traveling to the US to study for Political Science, happen to meet at the airport. They both decide to spend the day together, and realize that they are both drawn to each other, though their futures lie on entirely different continents. The rest of this movie follows the progression of their love story over eight years and through three magical nights in three magical cities, London, Paris, and New York.

‘London, Paris, New York’ will be premiering on Saturday 16th June at 20:00 and ‘Kahaani’ will be airing on Saturday 30th June at 20:00 on Star Gold.
