Kabir Khan on SRK’s cameo in ‘Tubelight’

Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen sharing the screen in Kabir Khan directorial ‘Tubelight’. The filmmaker has spoken about why Shah Rukh was the ideal person for the small role.

“His cameo is integrated with the film rather than using it just as a gimmick that the two Khans will be seen sharing the screen space after nine years. If you see the film, you will realize that the role demanded a superstar’s presence. It is crucial to the plot, changes the entire plot and Shah Rukh fits the bill,” said Kabir, according to Box Office Capsule.

Shah Rukh himself has said previously that the role is special and comes a particularly poignant point in the story.

‘Tubelight’ is set for release on 23rd June.
