Kabir Bedi calls ‘Mohenjo-Daro’ a “beautiful story” by Ashutosh Gowariker

Having received praise for his small role in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ (2015), Kabir Bedi is all set to play a role on Ashutosh Gowariker’s next period drama, ‘Mohenjo-Daro’.

The film’s setting is from an ancient city in Sindh Pakistan called Mohenjo-Daro, during the time of the Indus Valley era back in 2600 BC. Without revealing much about his character, The Indian Express reported the actor explaining, ��”I am playing a very important role in the movie. I can�۪t talk much about it. The movie is shaping up well. It is an epic movie and Ashutosh has weaved a beautiful story around one of the oldest civilisations. It will be a great movie.”

Also starring in the project is Hrithik Roshan who is playing the lead. Talking about working with Roshan, Bedi expressed, “I have seen him since his childhood as I am friends with his his father. It feels wonderful to see him evolve into such a fabulous actor.”

The film will mark the Bollywood debut of actress Pooja Hegde who will be seen paired opposite Roshan.
