Jus Punjabi prepares for testing on Sky

Forthcoming Punjabi entertainment channel, Jus Punjabi is set to prepare testing in the coming days after a test label with EPG data appeared earlier today.

Jus Punjabi will be the first channel to join the Sky EPG from across the Atlantic. It is America’s first local Punjabi entertainment and information channel. It offers popular Punjabi programming including music, news, religious and spiritual programs, live talk shows aimed at every age group and gender up to three times a day, local and national coverage of the Punjabi-American community. In the UK, it is expected to do the same with local Punjabi programming, however plans are underwraps.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , Jus Punjabi recently won one of the EPG numbers previously held by ARY Network, which shutdown after going into liquidation. Jus Punjabi will be launching on Sky EPG 791 – the former home of ARY Digital.

Jus Punjabi will have a lead of around two weeks of testing before it officially is added to the Sky EPG.

EPG tests of Jus Punjabi can be viewed at the following parameters below:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.656 (V), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “54063″ service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “54063” to view the channel
