Jus Punjabi to launch in March in UK

Popular America based Punjabi television service, Jus Punjabi will be launching in the UK in March, BizAsiaLive.com can exclusively reveal.

Jus Punjabi, a channel under the Jus Broadcasting Corp, is America’s first local Punjabi entertainment and information channel. It offers popular Punjabi programming including music, news, religious and spiritual programs, live talk shows aimed at every age group and gender up to three times a day, local and national coverage of the Punjabi-American community. In the UK, it is expected to do the same with local Punjabi programming, however plans are underwraps.

Jus Punjabi confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that it will be available in the UK market in March and an official announcement will be made in due course.

As revealed first on BizAsiaLive.com , Jus Punjabi recently won one of the EPG numbers previously held by ARY Network, which shutdown after going into liquidation. Jus Punjabi will be launching on Sky EPG 791 – the former home of ARY Digital.

Jus Punjabi will be competing directly with ZEE Punjabi and PTC Punjabi in the UK, as well as a number of Sikh religious channels like The Sikh Channel, AKaal Channel and Sangat TV.
