Jus Punjabi disappears from Sky EPG in UK

Jus Punjabi has abruptly been removed from the Sky EPG in the UK.

The American-Punjabi channel, which was available on 712, disappeared around 15:30 this afternoon. Incidentally, programme EPG data for Jus Punjabi only lasts up until next weekend suggesting that the channel could be bidding adieu to viewers. However, it is still broadcasting off the Sky EPG but there is an on-screen scroll directing viewers to watch the channel via its website.

Jus Punjabi launched in the UK in April 2017, after acquiring one of the old ARY Network EPG slots for a hefty price. Since its launch, the channel never made it to the big league due to the competition and lack of marketing. The channel is said to have been appreciated by the community.

A removal of a TV service is usually down to two reasons, either the broadcaster has failed to make payment to Sky or a technical fault resulting in the channel being bumped off.

BizAsiaLive.com is awaiting further details from the broadcaster.
