Juhi Chawla on #MeToo movement: “It’s sad & a little shocking”

Juhi Chawla spoke out on the recent MeToo movement in India, expressing shock and concern about the situation.

Speaking to BT, Chawla shared some of the culprits caught her by surprise, “It’s sad and a little shocking because of who are being named… to hear their names coming up in such matters is disturbing.”

Chawla also had a message for young women trying to achieve success in the industry, “I would like to tell all the girls out there trying to make a career this: Please stay focused on what you are really here for. God will protect you and you will find your way, I mean we all did. Don’t get distracted by the frills and fancies that come with the profession. They’ll come as a result of your work, but don’t make that your work.”
