Juhi Chawla bags Hollywood film ‘The Hundred Foot Journey’

Juhi Chawla has bagged her first Hollywood film called ‘The Hundred Foot Journey’, produced by Steven Spielberg and Reliance Entertainment.

The actress joins Om Puri and Helen Mirren in the film about an Indian chef who makes his mark in the haute cuisine of France.

Spielberg met a slew of Bollywood stars earlier this year during his visit to the film capital. The casting team suggested Chawla and the rest as they say is history.

A source told Mid-Day, ���A large portion of the film has already been shot in France. The unit soon moves to Mumbai for a shoot schedule. As Om Puri plays an Indian living in Paris, his portions needed an Indian backdrop – the reason they will be filming at some locations in Mumbai.”
