Journalist accuses Kailash Kher of sexual harassment

Since the cases of many women coming forward with their individual accounts of sexual harassment, the most recent being Tanushree Dutta speaking out against Nana Patekar, a journalist has now shared her incident on Twitter against Kailash Kher.

Reported on Times Now News, Natasha Hemrajani a photo journalist openly accused Kher for harassment towards her and her colleague, who attended the singers house to take photos for an interview back in 2006 where the incident happened.

Hemrajani gave a detailed account on Twitter of what happened on that very day, an excerpt from her thread said, “I was sent with my colleague, a woman journalist, to take pictures of Kailash Kher at his home for an interview. During the interview, this creep sat between us as close to us as he could. He also kept putting his hands on our thighs (on the skin above our skirts).”

The movement following the #metoo campaign has certainly given encouragement to those who have experienced sexual harassment across the pond and in India. It will remain to be seen how many more cases will be exposed over time, as this is only the start.
