John Whittingdale steps down as Culture Secretary
As the UK’s new Prime Minister, Theresa May steps into her new role, she has announced a slew of changes to her cabinet.
Culture secretary, John Whittingdale, known for leading the recent BBC charter renewal, took to Twitter to announce the news.

Whittingdale, joins other big wigs such as George Osborne, Michael Gove, Nicky Morgan, who have all left their respective jobs in government.
Whittingdale’s replacement has been confirmed as Karen Bradley.
