John Abraham’s ‘Officer Khan’ not based on book?
John Abraham and Rensil D’Silva’s upcoming cop drama ‘Officer Khan’ will reportedly not be an adaptation of a novel.
Earlier rumours were rife that the film will be inspired by the book ‘Moryaa Re: The Ganpati Murders’ but these have now been refuted. DNA India reports that whilst John Abraham has acquired the adaptation rights of the book, this film will be an original.
A source told the publication, “The movie is about a common man who becomes a police officer and not a book adaptation. In fact, it’s based on a real-life personality, an Indian-American cop.”
