John Abraham yet to decide on director for ‘Mirchi’ remake
John Abraham has yet to decide on a director for the remake of Telugu film ‘Mirchi’.
The actor-producer last year acquired the rights to remake the film however it seems that John had initially asked Koratala Siva to do so but the latter couldn�۪t come on board due to other prior commitments.
Sources say that the actor is currently looking for a new director in his place. ���John is still trying to find a director for the film and it is also likely that John will act in it. The remaining cast is yet to be finalised. John is busy shooting for Welcome Back right now and will start work on this project once he finalises a director for the same,� says a source.
Directed by debutant Koratala Siva and starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in lead roles, the original film released in February last year and was declared a blockbuster upon its release.
