John Abraham: “Sushant Singh Rajput will be fantastic in Dhoni biopic”

John Abraham, who is quite close to Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni following their common interest in motorbikes, feels that Sushant Singh Rajput is the best man to play the legendary cricketer on screen.

“He (Dhoni) is a friend and I am glad a film is being made on Mahi’s life. I am happy about it. I respect the vision of the director,” Abraham told NDTV.

Singh Rajput is currently shooting for the flick, while Kiara Advani will feature as his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni. “I respect the director and the actor for doing this film. I am sure Sushant will be fantastic and will do good work,” Abraham said.

Abraham is currently busy filming for Force 2 in Budapest along with Sonakshi Sinha, who is playing a RAW agent. “It’s second day of the shoot. Sonakshi (Sinha) is a lovely girl��_ She is hard working and dedicated,” concluded Abraham. Abhinay Deo is directing the flick and it is expected to hit the theaters in May 2016.

Abraham also expressed satisfaction with the response his latest release ‘Welcome Back’ has garnered at the box-office. The film was a sequel to 2007 comedy flick ‘Welcome’ helmed by Anees Bazmee.
