John Abraham loses 15kg for ‘Welcome Back’

Newly married John Abraham will be seen next in ��Welcome Back�۪ and BizAsia has learnt that, instead of bulking up for the role, he has actually lost 15kgs for a leaner look.

���John and I knew he would have to get a leaner look to suit the character. He is playing a street-smart goon and we wanted him to shed some weight for that part,�۝ says director Anees Bazmee to Hindustan Times. The unit are Mumbai bound after shooting the first schedule of the movie in Dubai.

Abraham himself is happy with his new look, ���The role required me to sport a look and body that suited the comedy genre, unlike the larger-than-life bulked up look��_�۝

��Welcome Back�۪ also stars Shruti Hassan, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. It is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer ��Welcome�۪ (2007).
