John Abraham locks 15th August 2020 date for ‘Satyameva Jayate’ sequel?

With the sequel of the John Abraham starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate’ (2018) still in its prepping stage, news has it John Abraham has already decided on a very apt release date.

According to The Asian Age, the actor has decided to have the film release on India’s Independence Day 2020 itself. “Director Milap Zaveri took time off on the sequel because he was working on his other project. ‘Marjaavan’, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria, was being shot,” a source was reported stating.

The source went on to add, “Milap has just started penning the sequel. Both producers Nikhil (Advani) and Bhushan (Kumar) have agreed on the sequel idea, and decided to bankroll it once they are presented with the final draft. Manoj Bajpayee will also be a part of the sequel and the heroine Aisha Sharma is expected to be replaced.”

Further news has it, that apparently Bhushan is getting his wife Divya Khosla Kumar back into acting with a role in the sequel.
