It’s fair to say that Hindi Cinema would not be where it is today if it wasn’t for the bold action sequences. However, despite how great they look on screen, there are always bound to be injuries and accidents along the way no matter how the actors (who do the stunts themselves) might make it look. This is something John Abraham recently learned whilst shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Welcome Back’.
If reports are to be believed, the crew were all set up in the deserts of Dubai with the camera rolling on for a action car chasesequences. However during the shoot Abraham injured his back due to breaking too hard. Talking to the mediaHindustan Times reported a source revealing, “In one of the sequences for the climax, which was a car chase, John was required to dodge cars coming towards him from all directions. But due to a miscalculation, he applied the brakes suddenly, which resulted in a back sprain.”
“A doctor was immediately rushed to the spot as John۪s pain was getting unbearable. He couldn۪t even sit,” the source went onto add.
After careful examination and some rest it wasn’t long before Abraham was back on set. However, he does have to remain careful for a little while longer. “The doctor has advised him to take care of his back, and not pick up any heavy objects for a couple of weeks,” the source stated.
Here’s hoping Abraham has a quick full recovery, and will be a bit more careful with his stunts from now on.
