Jisshu Sengupta calls Kangna Ranaut “a true goddess on the movie sets”

Jisshu Sengupta who is starring in ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ with Kangna Ranaut, was in full admiration of the actress, describing her as a true goddess on the movie set.

Reported on Mid-Day, Sengupta praises Ranaut from her work ethic to her performance, and says he has enjoyed working with Ranaut so far. “Working with Kangna has been such a treat. She is like a true goddess on sets. She is always very polite and quite the earnest type. She is a phenomenal performer and is very supportive towards the entire cast.”

Sengupta who is essaying the character of Gangadhar Rao, also mentions how impressed and thankful he is with the costumes, which have been designed by National Award winning designer Neeta Lulla. “Amazing costumes… I have done a lot of fictional reading already for my role. The way the director has envisioned this film, I can’t wait for it to release and I have to thank Neeta Lulla for the amazing costumes.”

Already having completed his first schedule for ‘Manikarnika’, Sengupta will join the rest of the team in Bikaner towards the end of the month.

Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ is slated to release in April 2018.
