‘Jigarthanda’ Hindi remake to star Kriti Sanon as journalist?

The remake of Tamil film ‘Jigarthanda’ (2014) hit the headlines two years back when much was being said about its casting. Now, it’s emerged that Kriti Sanon could be the one stepping into one of the lead roles.

It’s thought that Sanon has been approached before to play a journalist and she stills remains a popular choice. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Kriti has been one in the 2019-Laxman Utekar film Luka Chhupi in which she was cast opposite Kartik Aaryan. That film was about a live-in relationship. Kriti was also to play a journalist in a Rahul Dholakia’s film though she had opted out of it for date reasons”.

It will remain a rumour until there is some confirmation on this but the possibility of seeing Sanon in this kind of role is exciting.
