‘Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai’ to end this month

Sahara Filmy’s sitcom ‘Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai’ is facing the axe after only a couple of months on air.

The Kanwaljeet – Neena Gupta starring show, which launched with much fanfare in October has failed to strike a chord with viewers.

An insider told Mumbai Mirror, “Neena Gupta was trying to ham a little too often and Kanwaljeet was off-colour too. The two had no chemistry. The show did not click and the channel has decided to call it off.”

In fact, Kanwaljeet has stopped shooting for the show since a month. When contacted, he said, “I am out of town for three weeks.”
