‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ begins on Sony this month

Sony Entertainment Television Asia has confirmed to BizAsia.co.uk, that it will launch its latest series of successful reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ on Saturday 22nd September at 21:00.

The much talked about show will kick off with a 60-minute special and from the following week will be shown on a weekly basis on Friday (one-hour) and Saturday (30-minutes) nights at 21:00.

Speculation has been rife over the celebrities taking part in the new series. Ronit Roy, Cyrus Broacha, Sonali Kulkarni, Prachi Desai (Bani), Mika, Mir Ranjan Negi, Sandhya Mridul, Sudha Chandran, Aadesh Srivastav, Mini Mathur, Jay Bhanushali and Tapur Chatterjee are likely to appear as the dancing contestants.

Sony TV’s favourite lady Mona Singh (Jassi) will co-host the show with Rohit Roy. Urmila Matondkar is likely to be a part of the judging panel along with Jeetendra.
