Jennifer Winget to return to TV in a sociopath role

Popular television actress, Jennifer Winget will be returning to television with a hard-hitting sociopath role in a new Sony Entertainment Television Asia fiction.

Winget, who was previously seen in ‘Saraswatichandra’ on Star Plus, told Times Of India, “I wanted to do something different after doing daily soaps, and luckily, I got this opportunity. This is the first time I will be playing a role with grey shades. It is a thriller. My character can be called a sociopath. She is also an insomniac.”

Elaborating further on her return with this show, she said, “I have never been so nervous and excited at the same time. I have been watching a lot of international films and TV shows to get my character right. It’s not like those negative characters that you see in daily soaps. There is a reason for what she does. She is not a bad person, but something had happened in her childhood because of which she doesn’t want to lose the people who matter to her. People like her don’t know boundaries or limits.”

Kushal Tandon is expected to be paired up with Winget in the show.
