Lead actress of hit show ‘SaraswatiChandra’, Jennifer Winget has confirmed to BizAsia that she is staying put on the Star Plus drama despite rumours of her quitting it.
In a simple text message to us, Winget said “No I am not (leaving the show)”. Earlier this week, rumours surfaced of her so-called pregnancy leading to her leaving the show. However, she is not pregnant and neither is she leaving the programme. Her husband – TV actor, Karan Singh Grover said that the rumours of Winget being pregnant were not true. He laughed off the stories doing the rounds.
‘SaraswatiChandra’ had been in the news recently due to low ratings – putting a question mark over the show’s future. However, BizAsia understands that latest track between Saras-Kumud-Pramad is proving to connect well with viewers and the channel is happy with the way the show is developing.
