Jeff Bezos to acquire CNN?

Jeff Bezos, the chief executive of Amazon and owner of the Washington Post, is reportedly interested in buying the American news service, CNN (Cable News Network).

Fox Business reports that Bezos is keen to create a media empire. However, a source close to Bezos told Fox that “there has been zero talk on this”.

CNN was founded by Ted Turner in 1980 and is a unit of WarnerMedia News & Sports.
