Jay Sean performs on ‘X Factor India’

Popular Brit-Asian singer Jay Sean has landed his first solo appearance on an Indian TV show by being invited to perform on ‘X Factor India’.

Jay who filmed the episode earlier this week, will be shown on Sony Entertainment Television Asia this weekend. He tweeted yesterday, “Just performed on X Factor India… was insane!!!”

Jay who hit the top of the American charts with his single ‘Down’ is currently in Mumbai for a string of live shows and TV appearances. He’s promoting his album ‘Hit the Lights India Tour Edition’ in India.

Whilst in Mumbai, he met up with Priyanka Chopra, who herself has recently announced a music deal with DesiHits Universal. They were spotted together at a nightclub.

“Priyanka and Sean looked very comfortable with each other. They were in the nightclub for nearly two-and-half hours. Their conversation was rather animated. Priyanka was spotted giggling quite often,” a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Jay Sean has also been confirmed for the upcoming London Mela.
