Jay Bhanushali found losing abs challenging

Health and fitness has become somewhat of a second nature to many from the Indian film industry, and being able to show off those ever so buff bods is somewhat of a given in many films. However, there are those few film that require their actors to make those abs disappear which to some could be a blessing. However, one actor who was required to give up his fitness regime for a while was Jay Bhanushali, and apparently it was the hardest thing he has ever done.

Known for his stint in ‘Hate Story 2’ (2014) Bhanushali’s reason for shedding the abs is for his forthcoming project ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ where he plays a singer. Talking about his big challenge, Times of India reported the actor explaining, “Going back to Punjabi food was good. But it is painful to see the abs disappear. After all, getting six-pack abs involves a lot of hard work and discipline. I had to do it because a singer couldn’t be flaunting a chiselled body.”

Set to release on 10th April, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ will also see Sunny Leone playing the female lead.
