Javed Akhtar or Karan Johar first for SRK’s ‘TED Talks India’?

News about Shah Rukh Khan hosting the Indian version of ‘TED Talks’ where popular personalities talk about their success stories was already upping excitement. Conflicting reports suggest that first guest will be either Javed Akhtar or Karan Johar, BizAsiaLive.com can reveal.

“Javedsaab has already shot for the episode. The poet and writer-lyricist who is known for scripting films like Sholay and Deewar as well as songs like Panchi nadiya pawan ke jhoke (Border) and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh (1942 A Love Story) among others, has spoken about the power of words,” said a source to daily, according to Filmfare.

On the other hand, Bollywood Life reports a source from the show’s unit saying, “Karan Johar is Shah Rukh’s first guest on the show. They are going to shoot for the episode today”.

‘TED Talks India: Nayi Soch’ will have the likes of Ekta Kapoor and Rajinikanth as speakers, to name a few.
